Here we are going to share with you
the new revised complete ExamPattern for SBI PO Examination 2015. SBI
(State Bank of India) conducts written the examination for Probationary Officer
posts every year. Few days back SBI introduces an official notification in
which they explained the complete Exam Pattern and Exam Syllabus for
SBI PO Examination 2015.
State Bank of India had changed the
Written Examination pattern ofPO Officer Posts.
Major Changes
1. SBI is going to
start 3 phases for selection instead of 2 phases of Examination.
2. Descriptive Exam Will
Be Online. So candidates have to Type Answer in Computer.
Tier-1of the Exam will be for
screening of non-serious candidates to remove the competition.
Tier-2 will be main exam consisting of written as well as descriptive
paper. The biggest change in SBI PO 2015 exam is that the descriptive
test will be online means candidates have to type the answers in
the computer. Those candidates who qualify phase 2 are further tested with
Group discussion and Interview.
Here we are providing SBI PO exam syllabus 2015 based
on the new pattern.
Tier-I Exam: This is also known
as Preliminary Examination: This is an Objective Tests of 100 marks and
will be conducted online. The Duration of This Test is 1 hour and consisting of
3 Sections as follows:

Applicants who score passing marks in this Examination will go to the Main Examination.
Exam Pattern
for SBI PO Exam Tier-II
Tier- II Exam: This is the SBI PO
Main Examination it will consist of Two tests which are as follow: Objective Tests for 200
marks & Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and
Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answerDescriptive
test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective
Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
(i) Objective Test Exam Pattern: Duration of
Test is 2-hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200
marks) as follows:
a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing &Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
(ii) Descriptive Test Exam Pattern: The Duration is1 hour. The number of Marks: 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in the objective test.
Tier – III Exam Pattern: In Tier-III Exam SBI will conduct Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks) round for final selection of the candidates.
